My phone bootloops after...

I reinstall everything from MIUI backup... My Apps get re installed but when i try reinstall my data, wifi etc it restarts my phone and it goes through a bootloop. Why!?!?!

I think its wifi data that makes you bootloop. Try restoring everything except wifi

Yeah...I think you got it nailed Chewy. I have been running smooth for about 4 weeks now (and have been using the OTA updates / no wipe) but somehow broke my install yesterday. I did a clean install and was having the same issue - went through and installed and rebooted everything one step at a time. It was the WiFi backup that was wreaking havok with the install.

Does make me wonder if there is something inherently wonky with how WiFi is being handled recently as there have been many other WiFi related questions (connectivity problems, dropping, etc...).

Restoring from the Miui backup app causes bootloop...u can like restore one thing at a time lol...I backup with MyBackup Root and restore my home screen with Miui Backup app
