I am running a SCH-I545 S4 here. Noticed that my WiFi Connection tops out at around 72 Mbps. Led to further investigation that it is connecting at N speeds at 2.4 Ghz. Can anyone else confirm this?? Running 4.4.2 KitKat here! ;)

If you are not running in a 40Mhz channel, you will not see 150Mbps 802.11n capability. You should be able to get it using 5Ghz in a 20Mhz channel but the phone will always prefer 2.4Ghz by default.

I just reread to make sure, using one spatial stream the highest modulation rate available is 72Mbps. If you have an N router with G clients, those clients will not support N and the router will have to drop down to G to accommodate such devices.

Oh yeah, or...the S4 is not a MiMo capable device and you will not ever see more than a 72Mbps modulation rate.

All of the above all still accurate.
