Im new at this. I just rooted my Droid X and im wondering if there is a free App that i can use to Back up my phone.

To backup your phone (nandroid backup) you'll need Droid2 bootstrap which is a paid app cost about $3 in the market. You also have to have it if you plan on Installing a custom rom. Im assuming your on gingerbread. You can use titanium backup to backup apps.

Make sure you get the X bootstrap. D2 Bootstrap is different and not compatible (I tried this once).
Titanium is also an awesome backup for your apps. I use it regularly.

Get the Droid 2 bootstrap. The Droid X bootstrap won't work unless you unchecked USB debugging.

My mistake, my sbf file I work from is from the .340 update, so D2 didn't work for me.
Apologies.

No need to apologize no harm done. Yes droidx bootstrap works just fine on. 340 froyo.
