New chargers

The 6P comes with a Type-C to Type-C cable AND a Type-C to Type-A cable, so I'm gonna hold off on buying new cables for now. I'll keep the C-C in the house with the charging brick and the C-A in my truck where the quick charger I just recently bought is.

No clue as far as fast charging is concerned. I have a charger with a standard USB port, so I'll likely just pick up a cable personally. If it trickle charges in the truck, that's better than nothing to start, for me. When I go on long trips, I like to charge the whole way there anyway. Ensures a full battery when I arrive. I might be interested in a good car charger that supports the Type-C fast charging standard though, down the road.

They come with a Type C to normal USB in the box, but I've seen in the past, running Maps & Music while I drive consumes battery pretty good, the charger I had for the Note II couldn't keep up.

I've got a little shelf-like situation just under my lighter ports, so it'll be fine when I'm NOT using it for navigation, but like you said, navigation times are when you need power the most.

I don't want fast charging for when I'm in a vehicle for hours. A trickle charge will work but I don't have any car chargers with USB ports they are all USB micro for my current phones.

Agreed, but you still want enough trickle power to charge/keep charged. I ran a test with my Note 4 a while back and charged it using my USB 3.0 (not that that matters because the phone isn't 3.0) port on my PC. It trickle charged it quite slow, but it reached a certain percentage and seemed to just hold it there, wouldn't go past like 50-some percent.
