Current Phone Model
DROID RAZR M
My last phone was a Alcatel OneTouch on the Virgin Mobile network. When I got my Motorola Droid Razr M, I wanted to swap out the SIM cards. Both cards are the same size and when I put the SIM card in, it transfers the network information over, but I get an error telling me that my SIM card is from an unknown source. It tells me that the SIM card has been locked and to power cycle the device. Is there anyway to fix this?

Well, this is WAY late and I see that you are a one post poster and haven't been back, but just in case . . Or for any readers.

There is a guide here:

[HowTo] [VZW XT907/926 RAZR M/HD] Unlock US GSM Carriers Using RadioComm

It is fairly technical, but if you just read it a few times first then go through it step by step, it will work just as described. There was a spot I got hung up on and after following closer, I got 'er done.

good luck
