This problem has been happening for a few months now but it's gotten worse in the past few weeks. I'll say now that this phone does have water damage and most likely the cause of this but I was wondering what part is corrupted, the digitizer? the motherboard?
The home button works fine when this is happening but touching anywhere else on the screen does not work. The only way to temporarily fix this is to turn off the screen and then turn it back on. It will work fine for 10 seconds or so and then start flickering again.
