Notification sound problem

I have recently started to notice that my Z2 Force has an issue with notification sounds. When I get a notification, I only sometimes get any sound and most times when it does make a sound, it's barely noticeable. And this is with the Ring volume control at max volume.

Anybody else have this issue?

Depends on the sounds I use. With built-in system sounds I have no issues. With custom sound files.....it's been hit & miss for me since Android 8.0

Now that you mention the built in system sounds vs 3rd party sounds, it's the system sounds that are the problem. The 2 sounds I installed from the Zedge app (one ringtone and one notification) have not had a problem I've noticed
