My wife's S8+ T-Mobile still on Nougat is getting the Oreo (1.5+ GB) update now.

My S8+ T-Mobile on Beta Oreo is getting a 350+ MB update now.

Post your Carrier and whether you are getting the update yet or not.

Installed fine, not noticing much visually, but I am sure I will notice the new features the more I use it.

My wife and my S8+'s got the update last night. We're on Verizon.

Not sure if you use it, but individual text tones for contacts was eliminated. I do not use it but many who do are upset about it.,

We only used individual ring tones, but I can see why people would be upset.

I downloaded Oreo 8.0 and noticed that I am unable to customize text message tones in the native Contacts app and therefore when I receive a text messages it uses the default text message tone. Before the update; I was able to customize text message tones for each contact. A search of the net will result in 100s of "complaints" about this feature being removed. Some Samsung users are even considering to switching to iPhone.

so some samsung users are wanting to downgrade;-) fortunately for samsung it is mostly just talk. I think there will eventually be a fix since so many users are griping.

Just got it yesterday (ATT). Haven't noticed much difference although, and I'm not sure whether or not it's my imagination, but it seems to run everything slightly faster.

the same here, no difference. I guess most of the changes are under the hood and in settings. I use a launcher so any touchwiz changes are not noticeable.

T-Mobile, received it on the 16th of this month. Still waiting on my T-Mobile Note 8.
