Just wanted to post that when I got the ota last Thursday for the D 3 that the ota failed on my stock phone and then the home screen showed no 3G connection. Worked with Verizon to fix and after a hard reset the phone still showed no 3G service. Verizon got Motorola on the phone and they could not get 3G service either. Verizon then said they would ship me a replacement phone and would have on Friday. Got the replacement phone on Friday and spent Friday night and Saturday getting it back to my setup. The replacement phone came with the update already installed and have had no problems with it. Battery life is better and today after work (12 hours off charger was still at 70% where before had 50%) using the extended battery. Verizon came through for me with a good replacement phone. Just wanted to post a good ending story so far.
