Power + home buttons ... no screen shot

When I press the power and the home buttons at the same time, I no longer get a screenshot. The hand wave still works, but I forget that a lot. Anyone know if the power/home procedure can be disabled or ????

That's a good question. I know you can disable the "hand wave" as you called it, but I'm not sure whether the physical button method can be disabled.

I never came across an option to disable the power/home button combination for a screenshot with my S5.

Are you holding the buttons down for a bit? It doesn't instantly take the photo if you just simultaneously press and release them (like with iOS devices). They need to be held down briefly.

I tried lots of different combinations. I'm familiar with the timing, I used it before when I first got the phone.

Sometimes mine can be a bit finicky. You might try rebooting your phone and giving it another try.
