Remember, this ROM is Deodexed, which means the first boot will take a long time, all subsiquent boots will load fast, the bootanimation present in this ROM does not repeat, so after it finishes your screen will be BLACK, this is NORMAL.. don't worry, it will load, just be patient..

Updating to newest baseband
Credit for this goes to PETE
-Download the update.zip below
-place on the ROOT of your SDCard
-Rename to update.zip
-reboot into SPRecovery
-make an nandroid backup before
-apply update.zip
-reboot and your phone will give you final instructions
-YOU WILL NOT LOSE DATA, the backup is a precaution

Changing Font
Credit for this goes to AdamZ
If YOU mess something up or lose any of your data its YOUR fault, not anyone elses..

This is AdamZ's Droid Customizer from 2.0.1, however you

can still use it to change fonts and bootanimations, NOTHING ELSE..

so SKIP every step, excecpt for FONT and BOOTANIMATION... If you try to change something eles, you WILL be in a boot loop and have to restore,
SO MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE JUST IN CASE..

Son of a .......you went to an Incredible? Are you going thru remorse? Even though it was only November when the Moto Droid came out, look how quickly things evolved for it, I'm sure the Incredible, with your help, will be just as good with root, themes and custom ROM's.

I will give this ROM a shot this week Woody and company.

Holy crap!!!! I think people have overlooked this rom! I am guilty also I haven't tried it till today. Looks great! runs well. And for those of us who are addicted to Droid Forums it gives you a little feel of home while your away. The Notification bar and LWP's are awesome.

Some what new to the forum. I downloaded this ROM and installed without a hitch. Im lovin it. Great build and runs smooth. Even tho it's a year old it's the first ROM I flashed on a CricKet flashed Droid. Only question I have, "System Update" keeps asking to update to 2.2 . Can I update it or just leave it alone? Thanks in advance

Im using the Droid 1 an everything went fine. Just wiped everything to make sure it went fine. Like it says in the instruction, first boot takes awhile to load but boots quicker next time.

Yep for the original droid, like stated you will have update notices. and this is Android 2.1 its an older ROM but still should run rock solid, this is the DroidForums themed succulent desire rom, i forget what version of sd this was but i wanna say v 4.0
