Uninstall it and try it again. You sure you have root rights? Other root apps work?

Did the uninstall/install again. Root Explorer has superuser permision. Same thing.

Go to settings - apps - all, find root explorer and wipe its data... see if that helps.

That's strange. Are the SU binaries up to date?

Updated from 3.0 to 3.1.1 but gaining root access failed. I have Superuser Elite if that matters.

Reinstall BusyBox installer pro v1.20.2. Failed. Message said to install diff ver. Install diff app named BusyBox. Failed to install. Said su binary not found. Phone shows su binary ver 3.0 installed.

It really sounds to me like you aren't rooted properly. Download root checker basic from play and run it. What does it say?

Yes I have root access and was verified. Only thing that has changed on the phone was the SD card went bad so I installed a new one. Thanks for your input. I'm sure it's something easy to fix. Only a few apps that do not work as they did in the past.

Usually you need to re-install the apps that use the SDcard after installing a new one with nothing on it. I would try re-installing Superuser and busybox and then root explorer.
