S8plus unlocked sprint

I had it unlocked it Tmobile now the software update showed in my notification bar it won't update or manually. Anyone have any suggestions or is it where it unlocked it was done wrong. The software update is the Oreo.

If I recall even with it unlocked the firmware and bands are still related to the original carrier which means that unless it can "register" or verify the original carriers network it won't start the download....

You may have to take it to original carrier and have it flashed...

Basically the update is stored on the original carriers servers and only pushed through their towers or on their network.....

It's like trying to access a neighbors PC from your own network.... You may have internet access but you don't have network access......

No I'm very new at this.
Ok. There are options. Just to clarify the original carrier was T Mobile and now you have sprint? We will look into this and see what can be done to obtain the files and get them loaded.

No it was Sprint now it's Tmobile

G955USQS1AQ16 my last update when i was with Sprint. When i switch my S8plus with Tmobile the Software update came up but couldn't do anything won't download it....ughhh

No. It's common practice. It won't download because it's not connected to the original carriers network which is where the update is stored.
