I actually don't like SD cards because you can't install apps on them and also Samsung seemed to spend less money on the nand flash in the phone. I would say faster ram and faster storage are the most important parts of a phone. It will make apps load faster and make the phone fly. Samsung could have made it easier to remove the battery like on the iPhone 4s, it was extremely easy to replace but nothing like the galaxy series.

While you can't choose to install directly to the SD card upon first downloading an app, Samsung devices allow you to move the bulk of the data for most apps to the SD card after they're installed. Some apps automatically put most of their files on the SD card (especially games).

And for those who root, apps can be installed on the SD card.

Neither are perfect, but they're great to have.
