unrooted T-bolt browser question

With the stock browser on the thunderbolt ... is there a way to delete the items that show up in the list from the address bar. I don't mean history or bookmarks. I've deleted all history, cache, form data, and all that. But like when you type www in the address bar, this big long list of sites shows up. They aren't ones I've been to. Some I've never even heard of. It's almost like a list of default suggested sites.
