^ downloaded that app and then downloaded the link you (@CJM ) posted above and was able to use that app to install it on my phone. Will do that with my nexus 5 later as i definitely need to get that up to date as that has become my flashing rom phone.

You can also install from TWRP. If you're on 2.8.4 or higher

TWRP Install (Requires TWRP 2.8.4 or higher already installed):

Download the latest TWRP image file (.img) from the download link and boot TWRP. Go to install and find and select the Images... button. Browse to the image that you downloaded and select it. Choose recovery and swipe to flash.

I haven't tried this method yet though

Just flashed the new TWRP images while I was in TWRP recovery. That was the easiest way I've updated TWRP so far.
