Did you know you can use your Google Home (or Mini) to make phone calls? This is not new, it has been around for a while now in the U.S., U.K., and Canada. But I figured it's worth a post for those that may not know you can set it up to make hands free calls. You can even set it to display your phone number to the person on the other end.

Knew this. My favorite feature is Broadcast. Y'all know this?
Wife asks if I can get some stuff from the store. Sure. Get to the store, they don't have the thing. So I call her to see what I should get instead. She doesn't answer. As usual. I can't begin to tell you how many times this or something similar happens.
Lift phone: OK Google, Broadcast Sarah call me please.
All 3 of my Googles then broadcast the message...
This works on your devices, too.

Ohhhhh, I'm so out of the loop with Google. I guess I need to make some time and learn. Incidentally, my moto drive (or whatever it's called) stopped working a couple of weeks ago. I guess I really need to catch up with Google and get with the program.

Alexa also able to call phones and make announcements. Funny stuff, sounds like airport terminal in the house when you have bunch of units throughout.
