I have a DROID 1 (not rooted) running 2.2.1

I cannot connect to any wifi.

When I enable wifi I get

wifi scanning > obtaining IP address > then nothing > repeats the same process.

Help!
Thanks

A) I'll assume your router is broadcasting and B) That you have allowed it to be discovered?

Sounds like no available WiFi?

I have tried to connect to my work wifi and my home wifi. I have connected before. I recently reset my droid. Since then I re-entered my WEP key. Now I cannot get connected?

Might want to try another factory data reset if you just performed one before the glitch. I hope we can get this resolved

Take out your battery for 30 seconds, then bring your phone up. Let it sit there for a good two minutes, then try connecting again. I had the same problem as you when I had my droid.

Good Luck.

That did the trick. I turned off DROID > Took the battery out > waited 2+ minutes > then fired it up. Wifi connected.

Thanks Homie!

Glad you goit it fixed boss. Wifi can definently be a big advantage with wireless speeds over 3g speeds

Thank you.....thank you...I would like to thank the OG Droid for messing up at the specific times in my life when it did.....I would like to thank myself for dropping the Droid on accident countless times.

On a serious note....glad it worked for you bra!
