YouTube and GMAIL

No further off topic possible. But you guys know everything.
I'm trying to share several videos on stroke topic with friends are are neurologists and neurosurgeons.
On YouTube I hit share, but can't see all my GMAIL contacts.
Both the channe YouTube channel and the GMAIL account with the contacts see the same.
How do I access those GMAIL contacts via the YouTube channel???

I have never uploaded a video to You Tube in my life TxDoc, so I'm no help with this question. But we have many members here that are You Tube regulars so someone should know. I'm curious to learn also.

I use Type mail and when I hit share and pick Type it starts an email for me. I just add my contacts using the plus sign. I can't see Gmail being all that different. Have you tried rebooting or force stopping Gmail or YouTube? Is there a permission you have turned off?

I'm just trying to forward/share them to others.

I'm on my PC. On my phone, I see a list, but not all of my contacts. I did sync my phone and see who I want under contacts, but not thru YouTube.

I'm sorry, I can't help you on the computer. I'm rarely on one anymore. I use either my phone or tablet.

best thing to do is to forward the link.
or

1. Start watching a video on youtube.com.
2. Under the video, click Share .
3. A panel will appear, presenting different sharing options: Message on YouTube: Select the YouTube contact(s) with whom you'd like to share the video.

I'll try that. But, IIRC, when I clicked on SHARE, a short list of contacts popped up, but not my whole list.

then it is back to the first option. copy the link, paste it in an email then send it to the selected contacts from your contact list.

Click the share button.
It shows you a few contacts. Scroll to the right. Hit the 3 dots.
Next screen, top right, hit the plus sign. Click Find in Phone book. This should be next:

On a PC either do what @mejustsayin said by manually copying the link and opening your favorite email app and pasting... or to do through the "Share" button the YouTube page Choose the "Share Link" option and arrow Right to end. The email button should launch your default email client.

It's just a matter of whether its a local or web client ;-)

I kid of course. I actually use the Win10 client for Gmail on one of my pcs. Not bad actually.
But webmail is not considered an email client.
