nope i just flashed it over. everything ran smooth. when i read your post i tried it typed like 10 random numbs and no fc.. same with the contacts

I did not wipe coming form v1, nno force closes dialing out. messaging app seems stable. basically, no issues at all yet! themes are working great now. no Miui music app, but then i didnt like it anyway... i use my Droid in the car cradle everyday and the MIUI app didnt support landscape... hell, I use Mixzing or power amp anyway...

Sucks for me. Seems to be working for everyone except me. Decided to try out this ROM.

Issue: When opening Phone tool and trying to dial any number it force closes after the first digit is selected. Also, when opening the contacts, if I select a contact it force closes.

Steps Taken: I had metiCkOne's FRG83 v0.5 installed and working. Did a wipe of data/cache 3x. Then installed D1-MIUI 0.11.19-v1.1. I then installed the updates (Google Apps, Car Home, and Dev Apps). Then I installed ChevyNo1's uLow 1.0 kernel. After booting up and signing into my Gmail account this is when it started. So, I restarted and did 3 more wipes of data/cache. Still the same issue. Then I started from scratch again and didn't install the kernel (stuck with default) yet still facing the same issue.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

This was my original post. I also probably need to add that I was installing MIUI for the first time. This was not installed over an existing MIUI ROM. Don't know if that makes a difference or not. I've tried everything I can think of and force closes like crazy. Not even able to really use it except for apps. Phone functionality is completely gone and can't view contacts.

I just got v1 perfected. Guy can't even go eat dinner without falling behind the latest technology.

I did a clean install as well. I can view my contacts but I can't do a thing with them, and can't dial out, no text's either.



Just want to say thank you for your hard work!!! this is my favorite rom by FAR

it wont install like a normal app. you have to change the permissions on it. try using root explorer or astro file explorer to install it. I used adb to push it to my system/app folder

But just to help zero out the issue. For everyone saying they're having issues with the force closes on the dialer/messaging, could you please state whether or not you wiped when installing the 1.1 update?

Also could you please state whether or not you're coming from an existing MIUI ROM

Did a wipe 3x (of data & cache) before and after installing update. Did not come from an existing MIUI. Came from metiCkOne's FRG83 v0.5.

ok wrapping all of todays fixes into one (hopefully) no-wipe update, will include:

theming fix
will re-add new music app(that got removed from 1.1 accedently)
should fix all the fc issues with phone/mms/sms
fix for slideout keyboard unlocking phone
keyboard lighting issue(for some that are having that issue)

Computer. I even redownloaded to make sure no packets were loss during the d/l.
