16gb or 32gb?

up load all to google music, no storage at all. got the old og that has a serious limp, playing 18,000 songs.

While this an option depending on where one lives often it is not a truly viable one. In the area of the state where I live often Verizon coverage (the best 3G coverage in the state and the only 3G provider in my area) is spotty. Often the coverage is either 1x or voice only.

If the nexus is only offered in the 16 gig option then unfortunately I am going to have to seriously reconsider the nexus in favor of another phone that allows for a SD card.

Sent a tweet to @googlenexus for verification but don't honestly expect a reply.

I have 3k+ songs, plus I have 500+ pics so I can change my wallpaper frequently. I have 7gb left on my 32 gb card, and don't have anything I'm willing to part with. I listen to music all day at work via bt, streaming isn't a good option.

16G might be more than enough now, but if you plan on holding onto the phone for a full 2 year cycle it likely won't be enough within a year. To me that's the biggest issue. Even though I may only "need" 16gigs now, I'm not sure I want a new phone which does not allow some headroom for the increasing size of programs, videos (1080pHD eats up a lot of space), photos and whatever comes down the line that will be developed to push the limits of the new tech. Hopefully it's another in a long line of false rumors.

This really sucks if they shafted us and only going to give us the 16gb. I have 900mb left on my 32GB card right now. Podcasts, audiobooks, TV shows to keep the kids occupied, music....... I'm starting to hate Verizon, I have a feeling it's their doing. I'm pretty sure they just want more profit, so they are like, we will sell the 16GB for $ 299. I was upset that it didn't have an sd card and now this, i'm afraid this may be a deal breaker. Sounds like google needs to grow some kahonees and pull out some pointers from Jobs.

Idk why u all keep dreaming, I know its what u want to believe but let's face the fact. A few days ago Googles page had 16gb/32gb, now its just got 16gb. Anyone have a (logical) reason why they would do this???

Chill, everyone needs to hop off the nexus. Some people love it too much. Some people just love hating on it. Its going to be an amazing phone...as much as I cared about space, now with Google music don't care anymore for music space...u can also back up pics through picassa or Google plus privately. Etc
Just want storage for apps and 16 would be fine.
