2.01 Update for the Milestone version?

Waiting with bated breath! From what I understand, 2.01 will bring:

- better (faster) performance in general
- much longer battery life
- camera fix

Right? Any others?

does this update must be installed only by OTA update, or it can be donwloaded from android market and install it manually?

As I understand it, the AF bug is date related. AF on my Milestone have not been working since I got it 22/12/2009. It's working great now. It should work for 24,5 days - then not work for the following 24,5 days

Could be false but the update should defenetly come in January.

Well,

after weh heard the nexus one live stream yesterday, they spoke of the DROID having 2.1 officially in january GUARANTEED, so it cant take long till they push it to the milestone as well i hope.

guess in February or march.

im even not sure anymore that they do the 2.0.1 step in between

Could be 2.0.1 or could be 2.1 (hoping for 2.1)

That's bad news to me.
On other post I read that an update in January was guaranteed.
They should do the 2.0.1 immediately IMO.
Also having the updates to Droid and not to Milestone is still a non-sense to me...
