2.1 dock clock

I have a quick question and I appologize if it has been answered elsewhere, but I could not find it. In 2.1 there is a new clock app. I'm wondering if this affects the clock when it is in the droid dock. If so, is it dimmer? The dock clock is so bright, it makes it useless to me.

i've heard that 2.1 gives off a dimmer light, though im not 100% sure.

yes the 2.1 clock is dimmer however you lose the weather and it doesn't look as polished as the current dock clock IMO. I went back to the old one though even though its a bit brigter cause it just looks nicer to me. to each his own.

Weather is still there, you just have to have the new Google News & Weather app installed or it will not show. The new dock clock is not as fancy as the old one, but personally I like it better and I can actually sleep with this on.
