My topic here.

2 1500 mAh batteries with external charger. Amazon.com: T-Mobile HTC myTouch 4G 2x1500mAh Battery better than OEM + Wall Travel Dock USB Charger also for Merge TMobile GSM BD42100: Cell Phones & Accessories

Charger has a USB port built into the side so you are able to charge the phone as well.

These batteries say for the myTouch 4G... but are compatible with the Thunderbolt. they are an exact fit, and im pretty dang sure are the same battery with a different name slapped on it.

They got me about 2 hours extra and im a pretty heavy user.

How are the batteries doing

Theyre doing fine. I now use my phone as i please, and dont restrict what i do on the phone to save battery. I enjoy my phone more now. Im also never tied to the wall

Theyre worth it.

Definitely a good investment if you plan on keeping this phone

are they showing better life than the stock one, or do they simply make good backups? sorry if I missed this earlier if it's been answered... I've ready so many different things about different batteries since getting the phone...

They do make a difference, id say an hour or so extra. Thats of course on heavy use. Also, once one dies just pop another in lol and youre set

Same charger... Diff. Batteries. These batteries say htc like every other htc battery and on the flip side says htc merge and mytouch 4G. The charger has a usb cable plugin on the side so you can charge the phone too. L
