2.2 update status for fascinate galxy s?

That was the reply I got from samsung when asking them to release kernel source for 2.2. They said an official announcement has not been made but to wait until early april. They also informed me of the release of mesmerize 2.2 source. Its the same hardware so there is no reason not to believe the fascinate release is coming soon.

Well rooting sounds like.my plan.. an I grew up on the iPhones/apple market.. I like to go online and watch free/bootlegged. Movies for free but my android isn't compatible with QuickTime and what not. I'd just like to be able to. Of have so many restrictions, I payed 600 for this phone and so far haven't been able to do anything.. samsung dissapointed me
