2.3 for Droid x?

Are the roms a real 2.3 or just a skinned 2.2 to make it look like its 2.3?

Are you talking about Android version 2.2.1? And System version 2.3.340?

Cause most of the new ROM's are built off the 2.3.320 leak or built off the

2.3.340 OTA update. And they should be compatible for both unless posted

otherwise in release OP by the dev. Not exactly sure what you mean by

"skinned."

The X does not have Gingerbread and due to the locked bootloader won't have it till someone leaks a Gingerbread-built system version.

seriously man? when he says android 2.3, it's pretty clear he means gingerbread...

to answer op, no, nothing yet that I know of. but considering all the true gingerbread Tom's for the droid1 being broken, you're better off waiting. major things are still broken, like the accelerometer.

You say it's clear, but I've seen plenty of people misunderstand (myself included) -- especially when there was an update that looked like 2.3, but was actually 2.2.whatever.

Which is where the confusion came in. Motorola released a 2.3 update right about the same time Google stopped calling Gingerbread 3.0.
