$20 3800 MAH Battery test and comparision

I saw a slight upgrade today.

Got close to 3 1/2 hours screen time and the phone was off the charger all day.

Gonna try to repeat the process again.

However I was on wifi majority of the time and 0 percent brightness.

These battery stats for the super extended battery are not very impressive. I was hoping for close to 5 hours with 40 hours up time. I average about 3 hours of screen on time with the extended, 2100mAh battery and about a 20 hours up time.

As a wise man (and woman) told me elsewhere, the "conditioning" of li-ion batteries is bunk, they will hold max charge without issue and don't need a breaking in period. The problem you all are having is related in some way to the system being unable to correctly read the aftermarket battery or a defect with the battery being unable to store power correctly. Moto devices are setup by VZ to give certain aftermarket batteries fits, so they work for some people and not for others. That said, I don't see how this would be the problem on the Nexus since as far as I know VZ hasn't meddled with the Nexus.

Not impressed so far. Longest I've gotten with this Trexcell 3800 mAh battery is around 8 hours (similar to what I was getting on Samsung's 2100 mAh battery). :(

I have the seidio 38 with nfc and that rocks. It goes beyond the 12 hours

well after using for a short time the battery life is decent but 1 of 2 showed up DOA and the one that functions has non working NFC. At least they refunded my money

So what do you guys think so far, Trexcell or Hyperion? I'd love to go with Seidio but I don't have the money to spare right now. The stock battery is next to useless, I'm charging my phone almost constantly with it. I was going to try the official extended battery, but I can't see how that little extra boost would do much.
