Enjoy it while it lasts. Ice Cream Sandwich is a load of crap just because of the battery life. I went from 12-14 hr battery life on my RAZR actually using it all day to 7 maybe 8 after ICS being VERY careful with. Down to 40% with 1hr 5min of screen time. I hate Ice Cream Sandwich.

I just joined here as Verizon just placed an order to ship me a CLN Razr Maxx in place on my Galaxy Nexus. Any ideas how long I should be getting off of one battery charge? I am an EXTREMELY heavy user and my Nexus would typically last me between 5 and 7 hours. I am in a 4G area.
If anyone has any other advice about the phone that would be greatly appreciated!

If you are a extremely heavy user, don't expect battery life like some people claim. Today, I've been using it pretty heavily, testing some live/video wallpaper. I am at 60% @ 6 hours.

I bet with light use on Wifi I could get 3 days as well. I have gone to bed at midnight a few times with 70% left. I have not tested to see how long but with tasker/smartactions and light use 3 days seems quite possible.
So I realize this may be a stupid question, but if you have WiFI, should you automatically disable data to save battery? Or does that automatically happen when you connect to WiFi?

Not a stupid question at all. You DO need to disable the data while using wi-fi to see increased battery life.
I set up a smart action to do so. It's simple. Trigger= wi-fi connection, action= cellular data: disable
I have gotten close to 40 hrs by using wi-fi with this smart action when I am at work and at home. I don't fair nearly as well without it. Usually average 14-18 hours or so without wi-fi.
Thanks, hopefully my battery use will increase even more now that I'm using WiFi at work and home. I've yet to keep it on 4G, connections aren't always good by us which is a bummer, but I can live with that. Longest I've gotten on the battery is somewhere around 30-32 hours. My husband is so tired of hearing me talk about the battery on this phone.
