Found my OG Droid and took out the 16gb micro SD card out of it and put it in the Maxx HD and finally rocking jelly bean!!

Are you completely stock? Or do you have apps frozen/renamed/deleted? Did you change the name of the file? Let me in on everything you've done before attempting to install.
 
Same thing happened to me. Because I deleted Google chrome after rooting. You have to fast boot back to stock update to the 7.2 ota then go ahead and do the jelly bean leak.

I did not rename the file. The steps are from the first posting.

Copy over to the SD card then reboot into recovery. Then get error 7

I am still not sure if your current system is stock. Have you rooted what you are now and made any changes to the system?

Also, have you tried redownloading the file? Try downloading it from a different web browser.

I'm rooted but removed per the 1st step.

Nothing was changed other then root
