Im going to try to use helix 1 though. The app menu and pages load a little slow in helix 2

if you change your animation settings to fast it speeds thing up quite a bit in the helix2 launcher. You can do that from spare parts if you didn't know already.

I went from another ROM to CM 5.0.5.7 to Jrummys v0.6. I read through the thread, but am not completely sure whether or not I should go to CM 5.0.6.2 and then to Jrummys v0.7. I would think since Jrummys is a ROM in itself I should be able to go straight to v0.7.

Had the same issues as socalrailroader, but v0.7 shows on ROM Manager now. I will try the Red theme when I get some time tonight.

This might not be the read thread so feel free to move this post accordingly, but I didn't notice this until the update. With beautiful widgets the time doesn't quite line up with its background image using launcher2 while in landscape...I don't really know how to describe it, so I've attached an image.

Any ideas?

I tried. My benchmarks were actually slower with it enabled.

This is running beautifully for me...I don't bother with the scripts anymore as they always seem to cause issues for me so I used Root Explorer to remove or rename everything i didnt want in the ROM...

what is JIT?

Based off what I've read, it stands for Just In Time, and supposedly yields very mixed results, its designed to massively speed up your phone (i guess by changing the way it processes things?) but some people have had it slow it down. Somebody who knows what they are talking about could probably explain it much better than me.

Handcent themed icon problem

I tried adding the themed handcent icon in terminal emulator and I got a "syntax error unterminated quoted string." Im using Jrummys .7 red. I got the custom live wallpapers to work, but for some reason cant get the handcent icon to work. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I am very new to this, and I think Im already addicted to it!

You could always PM Jrummy and ask him if he'd give it a thought...generally its based on the majority demand i'd assume....

I know he is a busy guy and we r lucky he does what he does when he can but i'm sure he will give you a solid answer if possible....
