any way you can give a step by step on how you made it work. i keep installing the framework, it tells me to reboot and then there's nothing. driving me crazy.

I haven't been reading the whole thread.. Are you trying to apply a metamorph theme? I have noticed that metamorph is liking some of my themes right now.

yeah i'm using metamorph. it's weird to me because it seems to be working for some and not others. could i have installed your rom incorrectly? i installed your rom over cyanogen. was i supposed to wipe and install only yours?

Ok, this is EXACTLY what I did, I even just redid it with the Blue Droid head to make sure I didn't miss anything.
1. Download the .zip of your choice
2. Right-click on the file, "extract all"
3. Now put the extracted folder in "Android Themes"
4. Open Metamorph
5. Press "Start Checks"
6. Press "Existing Theme"
7. Yours should say "DroidBlue"
8. Press "Droidblack2.thm"
9. Press "framework-res.apk"
10. "Apply it!"
11. "Yes"(To reboot phone)
12. Enjoy! (Hopefully)

ugh... i've got to restore now. after trying to install the framework from metamorph i can't download anything from the market anymore. i don't understand what happened.

Depending on what theme you used it won't work. I am going to try and fix all the metamorph issues for the next update. If you really want the droidhead you will have to get the framework-res.apk from the rom you downloaded and rename it to framework-res.apk. Then grab the image and place it in res/drawable-hdpi. Then place it on your sdcard and run the following in terminal

su
mountsys
busybox cp /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework
unmountsys (you'll probably get some error here)
sync
rb

Ok, sorry it didn't work for you, but like JRummy said some of his themes aren't playing well with Metamorph. I think Blue is the problematic one too. Cyan has been running like a champ for me, I've got no complaints so far.

that makes sense because blue is the one i'm using. my wife is using cyan so i'll try hers. on a side note though, i was supposed to install the v.07 over cyanagen right? not as its own. also do i need to wipe when installing the theme?

i'm sorry i just read if running cyanogen rom you don't have to wipe.
