Been having the reboot issue. Also, in text messages it will make the text do odd things like separate words and letters on different lines but then after a while or if i switch from landscape it will be fine . I can read it but just kinda gets annoying after a while.

Does any one know if there's any talk of the cyanogen rom being ported over for the incredible?
Test this... is it doing it while you have it plugged into your charger cable? a bad charge cable will make this phone go ape nuts!

Ok this might sound very dumb, but I'd appreciate any input on this issue. I can't figure out how to get rid of the icon next to yellow arrow in this screenshot:
What I think happened was I deleted the messaging app using the "rmmms" script and installed handcent and google voice instead. Now I have received a text from my mother, but the only way to see it is in the notifications tab, and there is no way to respond directly to it. When I hit "clear" under notifications it won't go away, and when I press the message itself (which would normally take you to the app that is displaying the message) it does nothing. So, is there any way to reinstall the stock messaging app? The only other messaging app I have installed is ebuddy, but it isn't coming from there either, and neither gvoice or handcent are displaying the text.
edit: sorry for the huge picture.
edit2: I rebooted and the icon went away, but now I have no idea how to retrieve and respond to the text that was sent. Again, not showing up in either handcent or gvoice.

No it does it when it is not plugged in too. Sometimes it will change when i go to type or even when i scroll and its quite annoying when im trying to read a long text lol but if no one can figure it out i will just downgrade to another version until he makes a new one. I like the roms and this was the only one that has given me problems so far

I know it was briefly discussed earlier in the thread, but has anyone found out how to get past the issue with the droid freezing when using the camera? I've tried different versions of the ROM but still can't get the camera to work.
Hello gentlemen. Does anyone else notice that the Dialer screen is super laggy? When someone gives me a call, it will show just the phone number they are calling from for around 2-3 rings, and then their contact info. will pop up like normal. Am I missing something, or is it just laggy?
Also, I know this is a noob question, but I've got to ask. When I first installed, and hit the home button, it asked what I wanted to use. I hit helix2, and told it to remember, or always use this one. I'd like to swap that, and try some others out, just to see what it's like. Does anyone know how to reset this, or change that setting back to where it ask which one I want to use?

The phone has also been an issue with me that comes n goes hopefully a fix will be in next update...as for your launcher go into manage apps(where u uninstall apps) hit the menu button, filters, all then scroll to helix click and clear defaults...u can do this for any launcher and it will ask u again
The phone part of my droid is very laggy too. Not sure if this is a problem with the rom or not. I've experienced the same issues as you. I tried increasing the min in SetCpu to 500, but that had no effect.
Yes the phone dialer is laggy, i have noticed that also... I hate to even think about goign back to stock rom but im getting pretty tired of the phone randomly rebooting and i know its to do with apps, but it seems instead of force closing or wanting you to wait on and issue with an app it just reboots.. i could be in the middle of a call and it will just reboot. Or when im on my bluetooth and i goto put it in the car dock it will just drop call and reboot. annoying but im dealing with it for now holding out for the next version of jrummy. Just wish there was a debug text we could filter these issues to try and pin point them.
Ok I have an issue with the camera...runs smooth but when I take a pic the flash goes for like a half sec n the pic comes out like ****...like the main flash the first light is normal then the flash goes and its super quick fast n short I can't take good pictures in any dim light...anyone known of this issue or a fix for it??
Hopefully I can get most of this issues resolved for the next update. Some I don't have so it's hard to find the problem. I am going to spend more time building the next rom and I am currently working on a lot of custimizations for rom manager. If I can do it right it should be pretty awesome.
