Ah! I just realized that I had to enable "Pulse notification light" under "Trackball Settings" in Settings -> Sound & display settings before my LED worked for anything. Now I have my LED back.

... I've been wondering why there are trackball settings in this Droid rom... Did Cyanogen forget to remove/fix this? (It's the same on vanilla CyanogenMod and UD10.)

Is there a setting to enable/disable the green "screensaver" mode when the phone is in the dock?

how about this one: in rom manager with wifi disabled v.7 is available for download. enable wifi, however, and v.6 is the only rom listed.

am i missing something?

Does it not work at all... or does it work when your screen is off. I need to have my led stuff work LOL.

It doesn't work at all, even when the screen is off. In settings under "Sound and Display" I have both "pulse notification light "and "pulse with screen on" checked. Are there any other places I should be looking? I don't see anything under spare parts that would be related to LED. Yeah, I like having my LED working too

And if all else fails, go back to 2.1 OEM and take back to verizon as defective...

Awesome work jrummy! Downloaded red theme via ROM manager and working well, except getting FCs with Helix 2. I did not wipe/reset before upgrading from v6 (I'm a bad man), think that's the prob?

Edit: heads up, the first link for goodies downloaded a zip file that only contained mountUSB and Handcent and that's it. FYI

I think I got it working. I had status bar email notification off. Used to be able to hide the notification but still have LED. I also just found an app that allowed me to change the gmail LED to cyan. App is called "Gmail Notifier"

I'm good over here, no FC. I did do a wipe data/cache just to be on the safe side.

I am on the road and used the ROM Manger to change from 6 to 7...

You probably downloaded my wrong version I uploaded. Reboot into recovery and upload a different rom or your backup and then try installing the rom again... my apologies for the messup.

you have to extract the .zip file to the root of your sd card. The way I did it was mount the phone on the pc, from the pc right click on the .zip file, select extract and when it asks you where to extract to, select whatever drive your phone comes up as (for me it was E:/)

Download the v0.7 goodies and extract the "goodies" folder to the root of your sdcard. Then to apply the goodies go into terminal emulator and type "su" then hit enter "thescriptyouwant" then hit enter. Instructions are also on the first post.

IDk if anybody is still having this problem (I'm not) but I know some people (on .6) were, so I'm just curious if this'll fix it.
The problem I'm talk about is where text boxes wouldn't expand past one line; anyways i was exploring and theres an app called spare parts, its got an option to add "fancy input animations" and I'm thinking maybe that could fix the aforementioned problem... just a theory...

I just noticed my wifi was broken on 0.6, and upgraded to 0.7 to see if it fixed it. it didn't. whenever i turn on wifi, my phone freezes and either reboots, or i need to do a battery pull. any suggestions?

I gotta say v0.7 cyan theme is running like a CHAMP. Not one problem so far, I think this is about as close to perfect as it gets. Oh and also I didn't do a wipe. I tried the red theme, it's nice too, just not my style.
