Sorry for not reading through all 600 posts but I scanned a few pages.
I tried the red them ROM and it was hardly plug and play. I'm sure it's my lack of knowledge whatever scripts are or how they're executed, but my biggest issue was that when I went to accounts and sync in the settings, my google account only showed the calender and picasa. No contacts (or the fourth item I usually see). I can't get on to the market to download all the apps that I had, free or paid for.

Any quick thoughts?

I also downloaded ROM Manager (prior to this) because it looked like the way to go from what many were saying. I didn't know it was overwrite my SPRecovery

Man.. I've been slacking on some things.. I have been meaning to make all the kernels compatible w/ sprecovery and put up a change log.. Been lazy. For now you will have to use clockwork to flash bekit's kernel. Just run the script flashclockwork and you will have clockwork recovery or use rom manager.

When I go from an app and press the home button to go back to home screen, it goes there, but it takes about 2-5 seconds for all my apps to reappear on the screen. I've tried a bunch of different kernels and changed my cpu speed, but none of that has fixed it.

I was thinking it might be because I have so many things on my screens, or that I have so many (7). Also, I thought helixlauncher 1 would change it, but i like all the red things in helixlauncher 2.

I know this is a minor problem and I'll survive with it, but i think it would be cooler for them to appear right away. Thanks!

Try going to the Spare Parts app, scroll all the way to the bottom and select "Launcher in Memory". This resolved the problem for me, but I am using the "native" Launcher which also was slow while it reloaded the icons.

Rom Request/Suggestion

I have a friend that just got the Droid Incredible and noticed that the HTC Sense UI that comes with it solves one of the biggest annoyances about android I have. I love android so this really falls under a minor irritation. But I've never been happy with my moto droid copy paste experience. Any way I can add that behavior my self or does this have to be baked into the ROM itself?

I didn't really catch what you are trying to do here. If it's to do with sense ui then it's probably not possible on this rom.

Sorry I might not have explained myself very well. Is it possible to get copy and paste to function as in the image below as part of your ROM or would it require installing a separate app to get that functionality? If this is the wrong place for this topic I apologize. Since I use your ROM and copy and paste seems like a native part of the OS I thought I should inquire about it here before trying to search for another solution.

- go into manage applications and remove com.google.android.apps.maps first, click uninstall

- then install from market
