If you're rooted, you can disable OTA updates.

I guess it's been so long since I actually waited for an OTA that I forgot they tend to start then in the middle of the night.

Agreed. Almost hard to believe how into modding I was for a while before life got so busy.
The OG DROID's 2.1 update was the last one I can remember before I enter the world of being a root user & not caring. Brings back fond memories. Haha!

yup, stock rooted. I turned off OTA updates so didn't even get the last one. I was just waiting for 4.3 since the last update was just pretty much stability and apps2SD
