We live 70 miles North of Seattle in a small town (La Conner) and just for giggles I turned on 4G and guess what. We now have it! Must have been in the last month. Score one for VZW!
Congrats. Around here I don't think 4g is going to compete with my wifi. I'm on it most of the time because 3g is really weak around here, but it'll be nice when 4g finally gets here. Just in case I need it.

Thanks. Maybe they just turned it on and I am the only user! Almost 14mg down and 8.5mg up is much better than I had in Arizona last winter. May not hurt that tower is just across the channel from my house.
Normally I would not leave 4g on, I however thought I would test drive it again tonight. It has been very solid, with no drops to 3g. Did I say fast also?
I was just in Seattle this weekend and tested the 4g out around the U district and down by the pier. I was consistently getting 15-20mbps down and 8-12mbps upload. Battery drain was bad but the speed was nice when it was needed
In southern Vermont the only place I have picked up 4G is at the top of a firetower on top of a mountain. As soon as I descend the steps I am at 1x and for part of the hike back down I am at no data.
Always glad to hear that the 4G is spreading!
EDIT: Here is my speedtest from the top of the tower
Oh my God that makes me feel lucky about mine. I normally have average of 35mbps download. Highest was 42.5mbps. I will try to find a pick of some I did in a row
