In the verizon store when I select a 4G phone, none of them have a selection under features for mobile broadband.
When I select a 3G phone, I have the option for "3G Mobile Hotspot & Mobile Broadband Connect"
also, the page below only mentions 3G mobile hotspot for smartphones
