A few noob sbf questions

Downloaded burn for mac, burned iso to another blank. This time when I tried to boot from the cd, my computer started normally. Im about to give up. Macs and droids do not fit together well. Thanks for your time and your guidance 1kd, I greatly appreciate it even though I have had no sucess.

Forgot you were on a mac earlier, did you use the built in disk utility to burn the .iso file to the CD? Macs and droids can go well together, my macbook pro is an sbf machine and I built all the .iso's on it. As far as it rebooting into the Mac OS just make sure you are pressing the c key before you press the power button and hold it until you see the Linux OS boot up.

Yeah I have the 15" pro. And I used disk utility on my first iso disk. But after the main boot baby boot screen the screen turns black, and it throws up a bunch of white text that I can't read because its all moving too fast. Then its as if my mac shuts off, the screen goes black but it sounds as if the disk is still spinning in the drive. And the screen remains black and then to restart my mac I have to hold down the power button for a few seconds until it clicks, then press power again. Im not sure what to do.
