Just wondered if anyone else woke up to the surprise of Verizon turning on 4g in your area. Currently live in Podunk Marion Ohio. No mention of them doing this but its a welcome change as my house was on the fringe area of another tower and constantly switched back and forth

It's a pleasant surprise lol, best part is the network isn't saturated with 4g users yet in rural ohio

Have you done a speed test? Highest I've ever gotten was 49mbit down in Nashville TN

That a good surprise :)

There's really a "Podunk" in Ohio? (no insult intended)

Waking up to 4G is a pleasant surprise indeed. They turned it on in my area about 5 months ago and my battery went from barely making a day to running 2 days! My home was on the fringe just like yours and the switching was a huge battery suck. Welcome to the land of less consumption - Podunk Marion, Ohio!

Holy poop! That's fast! Best I've ever seen in my area was 33 mbps I think.

ROFLOL!

I love it...

"Hicksville is a village in Defiance County, Ohio". As if saying they're hicks isn't enough, they're defiant hicks... Brings images of 50 cal weapons and sticks of dynamite to mind! Hilarious!
