A look @ Weather apps. More important than ever.

With weather lately causing chaos around the country, its more important than ever to stay on top of things. Heat stroke, dehydration, crop failures. We must know what's happening now and in the coming days.

I like WeatherBug Elite. As you can see its a clear, easy to read quickly, to the point app that I have found to be about as accurate as it gets. Try out their free version to get a feel for its ease of use.

For Radar on the other hand I use Rainy Days. Again free. For years I was involved with outdoor recreation that was entirely weather dependent and this never failed me.

I like the 1Weather app - it is pretty cool. I agree with Rainy Days for the radar - quite detailed.

Here's one if you live in hurricane areas called Hurricane Hound. Looks like a handy app with easy visuals and its free.

Golauncher has pulled me back to it. Its free and has plenty free plugins. has more animations than the others combined.
