advanced app killer question

I just got my Droid and I am using advanced task killer for when I am done playing. I notice that it has apps running randomly that I wasn't even using like settings and Calender. Any reason for this?

Yeah there's really no need to worry about this. And app killers are WELL known for causing your Droid to start acting a little screwy sometimes

My Droid works better and has better battery life W/OUT a task killer app.

The only time I use it is when I turned something on and I can't turn it off for "buggy" reasons.

I have advanced app killer, but I rarely use it. I agree that I have seen no increase in battery life when I use it. Some apps are set to "turn on" and run quietly in the background without causing any problems.
