Okay, I have succeeded in getting the craiglist guys broken Droid rooted using DM Updater. He has downloaded Droidmod 1.0 onto his droid from the app and it said his recovery image had to be updated or something so he clicked the box that said "flash recovery image" and then clicked the box that said "I understand the risk." and nothing happened. I called it a night and told him I would help him more tomorrow, but can anyone help me and tell me why nothing is happening when clicks the "I understand the risk." box?


I really want this person to realize the full potential of the Droid and I am intent on getting his Droid to a wonderful working order... so can someone please assist me.

some people on craigslist are just a pain in the ass. does 200 sound like a fair price to pay or should i pay less. this is the first droid i am going to own and i really dont want to spend 200 for a phone and than not be able to fix it

If it's a brand new (slightly used) phone, $200 is more than fair as it retails for over $500, and you're not going to be tied to a contract. But that's my opinion, I would pay $200 if I had the opportunity.

Before modding it why not a complete factory restore?

If it won't work at factory, why expect it to work when modded?

Well he didnt say he was looking for an unlocked one, but then again if its on craigs list I guess thats implied... lol nm..

Subsidy locks aren't relevant to the Droid.
