all text messages cleared?

Sometime last night all my text messages were cleared, even the ones that I had locked.
Does anyone know why this happened?

Its been a random problem on some droids. Mine get deleted about every month and a half. G/L finding a solution, ive yet to find one though i was hoping 2.1 would fix this.
