seems like alot of people are having problems with apps auto reinstalling happy i didnt clear data and cache this time, was able to keep all my apps :)

I wiped everything multiple times before I installed, always do for every update, and all of my apps auto-restored in just a few minutes. I dono man...

Not only are the apps not auto loading for me, all my market links are broken. My option is to uninstall and reinstall every app to get the market link back or flash UD6 back. Ugh!

No I didn't wipe three times. I don't know how to do that. I have been installing my ROMs via ROM Manager and it only give the option to wipe data and cache only once.

In ROM Manager, scroll to the bottom and select "flash alternative recovery" and it will give you SP Recovery. Then long press the power button to reboot into recovery and you will see "wipe data" and "wipe cache" - wipe them both a few times to be sure its clean. THEN instal UD7 and when you boot up sign in and let it sit there for a bit. I bet'ya itll reload apps... Give it time before you do anything on it...

Make sure and download 7.0 from the forum link rather then from sourceforge. This will fix your apps not restoring issue.

To wipe manually, just boot into recovery by holding X down while powering up. There will be an option to wipe all user data, do this a few times. You will notice after doing it once it won't take as long the second and third times. It may sound weird but it helps, at least in my experience.

FYI--- i had the same issue. None of my apps reloaded and i did wipe data and cache 3 times each as i always do. No big deal though. I always have a back up. My backup pro is a good friend just for times like this

ehhh lost all my apps... not restoring... any fix??????

Other than that everything is perfect

I just manually reinstalled all my apps. A real pain in the a$$ but had to be done.

Or you can always make a backup, restore a previous nandroid setup, download Titanium Backup and run a full backup, then reboot into recovery and restore the UD7 nandroid, download Titanium again and run a full restore. That way you get all your apps AND their data!

The newer UD Roms seem to support his "own" backup and restore functions. I suppose this could be the reason the market doesn't load the apps, as it did not work for me either. Over all, I love this Rom. I refused to become a member at his site to download past released so thanks for linking this DF!

I am once again experiencing extremely high Cell standby percentages - currently at 17%. I also had this issue with SS 4.6. It seemed somewhat better when I tested the FRG22 deodexed stock rom. Has anyone else been encountering these high percentage of Cell standby for battery use on UD 7.0??

amber013188 - It does a LOT. It is a very stable ROM with the most jam packed menu of extras built right into the settings menu. Many hacks also, like the rotary lock screen, music controls on lock screen, silent adn vibrate put back into the volume rocker, custom launcher and extra ones... Try it out. (BlackDroidMod.com)

xeder - As I have said, all of my apps restored fine, so I dono why some people are having this issue. Very odd. Refuse to become a member ehh. Missing out. Your a member here right? Haha.

@icculusx I agree on the missing out! I guess I was sipping the hateraide a little too much ;).

I wiped multiple times before stepping in, I wonder if those whose apps downloaded flashed over an existing rom?

Oh, i have another question. i backed-up my phone using ROM manager and i was wondering whether after i update my phone to a new rom, would i be able to get ROM manager off of the market and restore my apps and data that way? Last time I updated my phone, i lost my davis drug guide and wasn't able to reload it without paying for it agian. thanks!

Ok my first impressions of UD7 are positive. I'm coming from UD6 and didn't have to wipe anything to install. I prefered the launcher from UD6 does anyone know if i can get that back? Also I thought I remembered reading in this thread that there was a way to get stock keyboard back but I can't seem to find it again, can anyone help me out?
