Am I missing something?

not sure of the issue bud but here's a cliff notes version of flashing roms in case you're missing a step:

1. Download rom
2. Download gapps (if need be)
3. Boot into clockwork recovery
4. Factory reset
5. Install rom zip
6. Install gapps zip
7. Reboot

If only you knew how many times I have done just that. I have no doubt I will eventually get past my issue, just not as soon as I would like.

Whatever happened to instant gratifcation?

Damn. Then I'm not sure buddy. Haven't seen any similar issues. When you lose signal do you reboot? Might fix it.

It's not that I lose signal, it is that I NEVER get signal. Reboot many times...

I am going to call Verizon and tell them my rooted phone won't accept my prefered roms and then suggest I need a replacement -wonder how far that would get me?

Well, thanks guys for the comments. Not sure I am past my problem yet. At least now I know I am CDMA, but the problem has occured with every rom I flash.

Sounds like an issue with the radios. Did you flash some GSM radios at some point? Try flashing just the radios (can be done in clockwork or fastboot)

4.0.4 are best imo. Make sure you get the cdma and lte

For the record, I couldn't flash roms with any luck either. So I unrooted and locked my phone. I then did it all over again using a different method than I did the first time. Good to go now.
