Amazing new music player for Droid!

Whatever your concerns are (BT, widget size), the dev will get to them. Right now he's on a two week project to make it so that we won't have to manuallly refresh the library.

I have to say this is pretty good, and so far all bugs I've found have been corrected immediately. The devloper is very responsive and this app has only gotten better, faster and more stable with the updates. The rfresh on the latest build is awesome. It could use some tweaking asthetically, the widget could be a little better and BT controls would be handy, but the voice commands/voice search feature outweighs those things by 1000%.

I'm just using the free version until I decide if I want to pay the whopping $1.49 for it :icon_eek:. But I noticed that when I go into "genres" it's "rock" and "no genre" and there are only like 3 bands in my rock genre, and everything else in "no genre" but some of the bands that are in rock are in no genre too. Also there are no track numbers, no time stamps and no progression bars. Maybe these are all things fixed in the paid version.

You might need to get your MP3 ID tags in order. There are programs out there to do this in bulk. The player is likely just reading off of those hidden tags, and if you don't have them set correctly it'll read them wrong or classify as unknown. It doesn't translate the song name into the genre/track #/etc., it comes from the tags.

Thanks. Which program would you recommend?

I use MP3 Tag Tools, it is Open Source and works well.

yeah there are a lot. I forget what I use at home. Something like EAGS ON. Not sure though. You can use MusicJunk to do it right from your Droid, but it's probably easier and faster to do it on a computer and transfer them over.

bTunes has been a disappointment for me. It won't load my music (from the SD card). It gets to about 48% and then force closes every time. I have the paid app, not the beta. My Droid is not rooted or modded in anyway. What gives?

Perhaps you have some corrupt files? Wait for the next update and try it or talk to the developer.

Thanks, I was actually going to take your approach. I want to use the app. I do hope an update fixes the problem.

Update worked like a charm.
