Android 2.1?

Wow this might sound like a horrible question but...is Android 2.1 out? I'm pretty sure my Droid is running 2.0.1 and I've been hearing everybody talking about what 2.1 is like. I looked up if it was out yet and all that I find is people talking about it. Can somebody tell me if it's out yet and if it is can you tell me how to get it? Sorry for being such a immature question...

supposedly it is being released OTA. I haven't really heard of anyone getting it yet though.

Well not really , it is a , so I hear , just a few fixes and added features .
Looks like it is time to root and tinker .

2.1 is a few fixes and such but it also almost completely changes the look of the phone.

Go look at the Nexus One 2.1 OS, that's pretty much what we'll be getting.

Looking forward to it, whenever that may come.
