When I flashed blurry my sound was on. And when I pit my Emil address in it sounded with the Droid sound. So its on there.

I had these problems and I suspect it was from under clocking. So if you have messed with modules Timmy in order to under clock, I suggest you completely wipe and reflash. I've only had one reboot in 3 days on 3.8 since reflashing it. And that's at 1.25 max CPU.

Thanks deduct. As you know I had trouble getting the under clocking to stick anyway. And the freezing did start after my first attempt to under clock.

That's what I was afraid of. Broke something when you tried to do that. Just reflash and you should be good.

I take it "reflash" means something like fxzing, safestrap, yada yada...?

In safe strap. In this order, go to wipe. Factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, wipe system. Go to install. Flash blurry 3.8 and reboot.

well that was disappointing. got all excited about a JB based rom thinking it would actually look like JB. the themeing on that rom was not what i was expecting (and has changed pretty significantly since the video from the looks of things).

back to rooted 246 for me.

on the plus side -- safestrap is awesome.

I am not a true believer in the blackened theme, but I like Blurry Maxx so much that I'm willing to live with it. To each his own, obvs.
