Android Tablets

I'm an Asus fan boy, so yes, good choice. I'm still partial to the 7" screen, as I still use my thumbs to tap out stuff. In portrait mode it accommodates this better than the 10" screen.

Sorry to hear of your new hurdles that you have to face. Strive on.

Powered up, but stuck with:
Won't boot. Says "fastboot mode" top left screen, but won't continue our turn off. What to do,? I can return it, but want to see what I may not know.

I put in my SD card before starting out the first time. Probably confused it.
Took it out, turned it off and restarted.
Fine now[emoji108]

Oooh that explains alot. Often when you only see that Fastboot screen, it means it couldn't find an OS.

Have fun with you're new tablet!

that would have been a bummer if you had to send it back. glad you got it working.

Well, I got my tablet. It's fantastic! It's exactly what I wanted it to be.

Screen is perfect. Sound is great. I have a case with a lid that turns of the screen when closed. Tempered glass screen protector.

I added a 128GB SD card. Funny thing...I formatted in NFTS.... connected via USB cable. Every so often, I back up any new photos from my phone too the computer. When I connected the tablet, and selected FTP so I could transfer files, my normal experience. When I cut and pasted, I heard like three little chimes and the files sped by and finished, but no files were on the folder I sent them to.
I took the card, pot in in an external card reader and transferred the photos and files without any problems. Placed the card back in the tablet and all is fine.
Bottom line...I want to thank EVERYONE for their valuable time and assistance in helping me. I've found how I can draw and email the results. I've already received radiographs in an email, drawn and made notes and sent it back. That would have been nice 20 years ago!

Hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas/Hanukkah.
Thanks
Dr Mark

Hey Doc!

So happy to hear you're loving your new tablet! Now about those radiographs? My dentist is trying to convince I need to crown a tooth that's more (old) filling than tooth...can I have him send you my X-Rays for a second opinion? :p:D:cool:
