Angry Birds won't install.

When I download angry birds it tells me the "installation was not successful". I tried deleting a bunch of apps cause I know it uses a lot of memory, that didn't work. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Sadly, this seems to be a common problem. The consensus -- keep trying. Some folks have had better success by switching to wifi.

had same problem unmount sd card then install it that should work worked for me

How do you "amount" SD card?

I believe the easiest is to physically remove it.

Only do this with the phone off to prevent possible data corruption (rare, but can happen).

To unmount with power on:

Settings | SD & Phone Storage | Unmount SD card.

You then can install Angry Birds. To see the card again, either remove it and put it back in, or reboot. (some phones you need to reboot anyway since the SD can't be removed without pulling the battery, others you can remove easier - Incredible for instance).

I just went to all the trouble to register a name for this site just to say GOD BLESS YOU guys for putting up all this info. I was having the same problem, wouldn't have known how to unmount my card...etc etc

Thank you guys so much for this thread. I was about to uninstall the entire game from my phone because it wouldn't complete the installation. But I ran to the computer and found this. Yeahhhh!!!!

i took my sd card out turned the phone back on and it installed just fine i was having tons of problem but this worked
